Our Baby This Week
Our baby can now squint, frown, grimace, and pee. Thanks to brain impulses, the facial muscles are getting a workout as the tiny features form one expression after another. Our baby can grasp, too, and may even be sucking his or her thumb. In other news: Our baby is stretching out. From head to bottom, measuring about 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and weighing in at about 1 1/2 ounces. Though I can't feel the tiny punches and kicks yet, our little baby's hands and feet (which now measure about 1/2 inch long) are more flexible and active.
